Andrew Tunney was a successful field salesman who saw an opportunity to save money by setting up an in-house printing facility for his employer. With such an entrepreneurial flair it wasn’t long before he had his own print and promotional product business, Opus.
Thanks to his sales background, Andrew really understands what his clients are trying to achieve and is passionate about putting that understanding to use. His extensive knowledge of the print and branding process allows him to advise his customers on the best print solution for their requirements and budget, whether it is lithographical, digital, screen, pad print, embroidery, foil print, transfer, laser engraving, UV print, rotary, dye-sublimation, inkjet or even 3D printing.
Amy, Office Manager/Customer Service Champion
Amy has worked in the print and promotional industry for over 15 years, having started out in the Slevin Group, where she was offered a full-time job at the end of her two weeks’ work experience!
Starting in accounts, she developed a talent for sales and customer service, working her way up to Accounts Manager before leaving to join Andrew when he started Opus in 2009. In 2011 she was promoted to the role of Office Manager, a reflection of her superior organisational skills.
Amy excels at working with customers from start to finish. Her special talent is helping customers find the perfect promotional item. She really tries to understand the client’s end customer so that she can suggest an item that the end-user will love but that also fulfils the customer’s objectives.
Amy constantly updates her knowledge of promotional items by attending international trade shows so she is always full of ideas. She goes above and beyond normal standards of customer service, a sign of her real passion for her job.
Ruth, Sales Executive
Ruth graduated from Dublin Institute of Technology in 2005 specialising in Business Management. She went on to work for over 10 years in the IT and Training sector and held a variety of roles within this time including Senior Administration, Customer Support, Online Shop Manager as well as others and through this she honed her experience in Sales.
Ruth is a people person and likes to think from the customers point of view and use her flexible nature and approach to ensure she meets the customers needs and requirements.
At Opus, Ruth’s role is to source the right product and negotiate the best price for our customers. She brainstorms ideas for clients using her knowledge of the promotional industry, which includes knowing the best producers and the latest ideas.
Michelle, Sales Executive
Our newest member of the team is already proving a big hit with our customers. Brand new to the Print and Promotional Industry but with over 10 years in the Customer Service Industry. Michelle’s attention to detail and organisational skills are exactly what are needed to provide the premium service we offer at Opus Print and Promotions
Michelle is thriving on the challenge and loves the wide selection of Promotional Products that Opus offer.
Jen - Sales Executive
Jen is a highly qualified sales professional and understands that quality customer service is the key to keeping our customers happy. She is committed to making sure that our customers get exactly what they ordered, in perfect condition, and delivered in a timely and reliable fashion. Her personal philosophy is to go the extra mile each and every time, making sure that ‘the impossible’ is regularly achieved for our clients.
Jen is very inquisitive by nature and loves learning something new, these traits help to ensure her customers get the best fit for their needs. Jen is currently studying part-time for her Honors Degree in Business Management with ITT.
